Still no ballet for me, with the messed up knee. And miss it a lot still too. For some reason I felt like getting into animation today and made this little video, to honour this amazing artform. Enjoy!

So, this is the last project for this semester; Beyond Ballet. Again, I've used the photographs of the brilliant Rasmus Malmstroem. The rest of the design is inspired by the typeface Machi. I'm so ready to go on vacation now.

Having dislocated my knee-cap a few weeks ago, I'm off ballet for about 6 weeks to recover. Excuse the language, but it f***ing sucks! I miss it a lot...

stephen baynes illustration.

These are a couple of illustrations I've done for my Print class assignment. The dude in the pictures is Stephen Baynes, an Australian choreographer, who is the reason for the event that I'm "promoting" in my project. I created this illustration by tracing a photo of Baynes, then tracing the tracing with a fine-liner, then tracing the outlines in the fine-liner tracing. And the rest is Photoshop magic.
