Right now I'm in the middle of writing my dissertation. Turns out I'm trying to write a freakin' graphic design bible. The subject is "Designing with a Conscience: A guide to the modern role of the graphic designer, and the impact of design in our society". It's so broad by now I'm starting to freak out I'll ever be able to tie the pieces togehter. My head screams "danger, danger!" - this is what our tutors warned us about back in 2nd year. Crap. I've only got 10 more days. Crap. I guess what I'm trying to prove with this essay is that design matters. Designers are not only superficial and self-obsorbed superstars that uses design as some kind of masturbating activity. what we produce doesn't only end up in the trash. It matters. Being a designer is just like any profession, like doctors or bus drivers. And depending on how good you are as a designer, how conscious you are about your decisions, the more powerful are your designs in our society.

I told you, all you need to do is type "yes" 4000 times. I mean essay's are meant to provoke thought right? I'm pretty sure if you said that, it would make them think "why yes?" thus your essay has completed its task =D
